We plan to bring the love and hope of Christ to greater Sendai city through a tsunami recovery ministry that gives priority to long term sustainability combined with church planting connectivity.
RECOVERY MINISTRY DISTINCTIVES
- Gospel centered: compassionate and culturally aware recovery ministry that desires above all to proclaim the hope and salvation in Jesus Christ which is best modeled in local churches.
- Evangelical Free Church family focus: emphasis upon the EFC (Japan, Asia, and North America), while at the same time cooperating with and encouraging the recovery ministries of other churches, mission agencies, and relief organizations.
- Local leadership: primarily led by EFC of Canada Mission and ReachGlobal church planting personnel already present in Japan.
- International cooperation: participation of the EFC family in Asia and North America for resourcing and encouragement.
